Teachers Day Celebration
Although Teachers Day is celebrated on 16 May nationwide, SMK DJ celebrated Teachers Day at the school on Friday, 25 May.
The celebration began with a Telematch event which saw the teachers grouping in teams and competing against each other in friendly matches. The event at the Multi-purpose Court ended with a Tug-a War match between teachers and students which saw the teachers emerge as winners. Kudos to the champions!
In the late morning, teachers and students congregated in the hall to witness and enjoy some great entertainment provided by a number of students of SMK DJ.
From sketch to musical to solo and group performances, the students went all out to salute and show their gratitude to the teachers in their own way.
The celebration themed : “Guru Penjana Modal Insan Cemerlang” ended on a high note with a performance by teachers Pn Farahnaz and Encik Khairulnizam.
